Episome Biotechnological Products was selected by the Cleantech Group as one of the top 50 environmental technologies to be watched in the world and had the opportunity to introduce its technology at the Cleantech Forum Brussels.

Episome introduced its Epicellulyse XT technology at the Start-up Energy Transition event held in Berlin with the invitation of the German Energy Agency.

Episome's patented technology, "Biogas Production from Paper Sludge", is also registered as a patent in Canada. With this, we have completed the registration process in all countries with a significant paper industry.

Episome has started work with Dutch BioEnergy Company, DBG Bioenergy, to establish a plant that will produce over 14.000 tonnes of BioLNG each year, using paper sludge as the main feedstock. DBG has selected Epicellulyse XT as its core technology to be able to process paper sludge, which will be a first in the world in this scale.
